Change Log

The following is a list of major changes during the Beta stages of iPrayer

21/07/2010
- You can now get to your daily prayers using an RSS Feed, to activate this go to My Profile then to Profile Settings. Once you activate RSS you can use your unique URL to get your daily prayers from your favourite RSS Reader like Google Reader, from a mail client like Outlook or even using a variety of applications for mobile devices.
- Secured RSS needs to used with a RSS Reader which allows you to enter your iPrayer username and password.
- A page, be it a profile, prayer request, feed, community, etc can now be reported for abusive content, the new link is at the bottom of every page and will alert an admin to the potential issue.
- Prayers in My Diary can now be hovered over to get more information
- The green 'Prayed For' button now says 'Please Wait' once clicked.
- The number of times a Prayer Request has been prayed for will now automatically update while your browsing a page. Note it will only update for 2 and ahalf minutes, after then page refresh is needed.
- The Theme option is now under Profile Settings and not My Profile

- Users are no longer sent on to the Today page when logging in if they accessed the site from a different web address
- Users can now opt to "Stay logged in" - this will keep you logged in using your current browser until you hit Log Out or you clear your browser's cookies

- Sort order by popularity for pages on Prayer Pool is fixed
- Some Friends were appearing twice for some users, this is now fixed

- A new 'Add as Friend' button is now available when viewing a user's Profile who you are NOT Friends with. If you have a Pending Friend Request with the user then a link to the Pending Friends page will be shown. If you are Friends you will of course be able to view their whole profile as usual.
- Smaller images now have their corners automatically rounded
- Community admins can view Feedback for their Prayer Requests and delete unwanted Feedback from their Prayer Requests all from the Community admin page
- Changing your theme colour now effects both the Member site and the Community Admin pages

- My Profile page can now be used to change your theme
- Most data is now paginated to improve load speeds
- Sorting of Communities, Feeds and Prayer Requests is now done by "Recently Updated" by default
- Your Prayer Requests for Friends will only appear for 7 days, they will then need to be re-submitted
- LIke wise, Prayer Requests from your Friends will only appear in your My Prayer List for 7 days, unless you have scheduled them into your Diary
- You can now remove Feedback left by other users from your own Prayer Requests

- Old Prayer Requests now work correctly, and the last time you prayed for a Prayer Request is always displayed
- Registration now needs you to confirm email address

- Recommending Feeds and Communities now works correctly in IE7 and IE8
- When a member leaves feedback on a Prayer Pool Prayer Request or on a Friends's Prayer Request the owner of the Prayer Request is emailed
- Similarly when a member leaves feedback on a Feed or Community Prayer Request the administrators for the Feed/Community are emailed
- Fixed an issue with the black background on the My Prayer List page
- Prayer Requests for Feeds now can contain video
- All videos now have an optional title
- Member's who have chosen to hide their location no longer appear in search results by location e.g. when searching the Friends page for Newcastle, London, etc
- Location is now set to be publicly visible for new members
- Long email addresses no longer break the page layout on a member's profile page

- Whats a Feed, Whats a Community and My Community pink info boxes can be minimised then expanded
- Names and images for lists of Friends are now links to their profile
- The 'Prayer For' button now works again in Internet Explorer
- Other minor cosmetic changes

- Moved the Remove Prayer Request button to the top of the Edit form for your Prayer Requests
- You no longer have to visit the My Diary page to get a new Prayer from the Prayer Pool. This is now done when ever you log in.
- View feedback button added to all lists of Prayer Requests
- More than one admin can now be set for Communities, the primary admin can only remove other admins

- The feedback form no longer requires a CAPTCH (prove your a human) if you are logged in
- Fixed error on My Community search

- The number of times each Prayer Request has been prayed for is now displayed
- Added a note for Community Admins who have not added any Prayer Requests to their Community. No Prayer Requests means that the Community cannot be scheduled.
- Fixed the sorting of Communities and Prayer Requests by popularity and by recently updated. When using popularity Prayer Requests are sorted using the number of times they have been prayed for and Communities are sorted by the number of subscribed users.
- Fixed the post time for feedback comments on Prayer Requests
- You can now schedule your Prayer Requests that you selected for your Friends. These appear as Requests in My Weekly Diary and My Prayer List

- Added Lightbox for the following images:
  - Community logo
  - Profile photo
  - All prayer request images
- Neatened My Weekly Diary boxes and added a smaller font
- Corrected broken URL in Community approved email
- Fixed a slight bug with Old Prayers, the Old Prayers page will contain:
  - Prayers that started before today that have not been Prayed For
  - which also have an end date that is in the future
  - or an end date which is within the last 7 days
